Homburger advises gategroup Holding AG on the settlement of the public tender offer of HNA Aviation (Hong Kong) Air Catering Holding Co., Ltd. to acquire gategroup Holding AG

On 20 May 2016, HNA Aviation (Hong Kong) Air Catering Holding Co., Ltd., Hong Kong, a subsidiary of HNA Group Co., Ltd. (HNA), launched an all-cash public tender offer for all listed shares in gategroup Holding AG (gategroup). With the satisfaction of all its conditions, the offer was settled on 22 December 2016. HNA currently controls 98.06% of the voting rights and the share capital of gategroup.

Gategroup was advised by Homburger in all legal aspects of this transaction.
