On October 18, 2016, two leading online travel groups in India, ibibo Group, owned by global technology group Naspers Limited, and MakeMyTrip Limited, a NASDAQ-listed company, have agreed to pursue a transaction that will combine the two businesses under MakeMyTrip Limited, creating one of the leading travel groups in India that provides a one-stop shop for all Indian travelers and serves as a critical partner for travel industry suppliers. Cravath is representing ibibo Group and Naspers in connection with the transaction.
