Simmons & Simmons Advises J.P. Morgan Cazenove and Numis Securities on a £49 million Placing by St Modwen Properties PLC

Simmons & Simmons has advised J.P. Morgan Cazenove and Numis Securities as joint bookrunners to St. Modwen Properties PLC (“St. Modwen”) on a placing of shares to raise approximately £49m. The placing was announced on 26 February 2013.

St. Modwen is the UK's leading property regeneration specialist. It operates across many sectors of the property market, and is focused upon regeneration and the long-term development of commercial and residential property.

The Simmons & Simmons team comprised Corporate partners Chris Horton and Colin Bole, corporate associate Stephanie Johnston, US securities partner Julian Perlmutter and US securities associate Tara Waters. Tax partner Nick Cronkshaw and tax associate Zoe Arnautov advised on tax matters.
