Kronfågel Holding AB has agreed to acquire Lagerberg i Norjeby AB. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approval.

Kronfågel Holding is a part of Scandi Standard, Scandinavia’s leading chicken producer serving the domestic and export markets.

Lagerbergs is the third largest producer of chicken products in Sweden, with sales of approximately SEK 300 million in 2014 and approximately 120 employees. The business has been owned and operated by the Lagerberg family since it was established in 1965.

Kronfågel Holding was advised by Mannheimer Swartling in the transaction. The firm’s team consisted primarily of Johan Lekholm, Per Åsbrink, Richard Carrick, Anna Bryngelsson, Klara Holm and Erik Hensfelt (M&A) and Stefan Perván Lindeborg, Daniel Kim and Lisa Rylander (Competition).
