King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised Landbridge on its agreement with the Northern Territory Government to build a luxury hotel at the Darwin waterfront.

Landbridge has signed a binding agreement with the Northern Territory Government with construction of the hotel set to commence next year.

The KWM team was led by Projects and Real Estate Partner David Bell and Tax Partner Katrina Parkyn.

David Bell said: “Once again, we were very pleased to advise and work with Landbridge on this strategic development that looks to achieve continued economic growth and development for the Northern Territory region.”

In October 2015,  KWM was also the lead adviser to Landbridge on the winning bid to operate the Port of Darwin under a 99-year lease
