As part of the implementation of the plan to construct new headquarters and a new distribution centre to meet its logistic needs, Gasa Group Denmark A/S has transferred its shares in GASA Ejendom P/S including its present headquarters and the 13-hectare ‘GASA site’ situated near Odense in central Denmark to contracting firm H. Skjøde Knudsen A/S.

The acquisition by H. Skjøde Knudsen A/S of the ‘GASA site’ is part of the creation of a new green urban quarter in Odense called Gartnerbyen (gardeners’ town), which is to be used for housing tailored to young people, families with children and senior citizens. The construction project, expected to commence in late 2018, will include 84 units of social housing for young people, a local centre and attractive facilities for families with children.

GASA Group Denmark A/S is liaising with the Municipality of Odense to find a suitable building site for the construction of its new headquarters.
