LETT assists Linkfire investor

28 Sep 2015

LETT assisted Thomas Sehested, who, together with Danish equity fund Northcap and a number of other business angels, has invested a total of DKK 17m in the Danish entrepreneurial company Linkfire.

Thomas Sehested, who, in 2010 sold the anti-piracy company Dtecnet to US Mark-Monitor, joins the office of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company.

Linkfire has developed a link service for legal streaming of music used by ia Universal Music, Sony Music and Warner Music. During the recent 12 months, Linkfire, which was established in 2013, has grown from 7 to 16 employees, and 40 employees are expected at the turn of 2016.

By the capital injection, Linkfire will now also focus on the book and film industry, which, like the music industry, undergoes conversion to digital form.
