LETT has assisted the consortium that has just won the tender for a 30-year PPP contract relating to the construction and operation of the Court in Svendborg, which is a Danish district court.

The successful consortium consists of CASA A/S, DEAS A/S and pension funds PKA, Sampension and PensionDanmark.

The Court in Svendborg is today spread across a number of locations, but the new court building will house over 40 employees under the same roof at Christiansvej. The court building of approx 4,000 square metres is to be completed by June 2016 and construction work is to begin early in 2015. The 4,000 square metres span two floors and include seven courtrooms as well as first floor staff premises.

The project costing DKK 175m was designed by KPF Arkitekter and COWI as consulting engineers.
