Hanover/Leipzig – Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH advised four professional pension funds on legal and fiscal aspects of the sale of the office property portfolio MUC10. The sale is one of the largest recent property transactions in Munich.
In all, ten objects with a rentable space of some 63,000 square metres were sold in the city of Munich. Most of them are office buildings or commercially used sites. Sellers are the doctors‘ pension funds of Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, and the veterinarians’ pension funds of Lower Saxony. Purchaser is the LBBW group which won a competition against other international investors. The contracts were signed at the end of 2014.
Luther has already advised on other complex real estate transactions in the past, including the housing project „Am Westpark“– a project development on the former ADAC site with 378 flats and a commercially used area of 890 square metres–as well as the project Nymphenburg Palace Quarter (Schlossviertel Nymphenburg) with 342 flats
