Macfarlanes has advised on the sale of high-end recruitment firm Alexander Mann Solutions to private equity firm New Mountain Capital in a deal worth €315m.

Alexander Mann Solutions was founded in 1996 by Irish entrepreneur Rosaleen Blair, who will remain as chief executive of the company. New Mountain has bought the recruitment company from Graphite Capital, a UK private equity firm which backed a £100m management buyout in 2007.

Head of mergers and acquisitions at Macfarlanes, Ian Martin, led the Macfarlanes team and comments: "We have acted for Alexander Mann and Rosaleen Blair for over 14 years now and we were delighted to able to assist the senior management team on the next stage of the business' journey".

The team also comprised corporate and M&A solicitor Josh Cowen.
