Macfarlanes has advised integrated marketing communications group The Engine Group (Engine) on its sale to a portfolio company of private equity firm Lake Capital.
Engine will become part of a larger group including ORC International and potentially another Lake Capital investment Trailer Park. The combined businesses would have revenues of around $400m.
The Macfarlanes team was led by corporate M&A partner Howard Corney, who comments: “We have acted for Engine for a number of years, including advising them on the previous investment in Engine by HIG Capital in 2010. We wish all the Engine team and their new owners every success as Engine enters the next phase of its growth and look forward to continuing our long term relationship with the group.”
