London — Mayer Brown represented HSBC in its negotiations on the design and development agreement with IHS Markit to create MyDeal, a digital technology app and underlying platform that enables the bank's employees and clients to access transactional, logistical and other updates relating to investor roadshows during the capital market fundraising process.

Mayer Brown advised HSBC on the terms under which IHS Markit developed the fintech solution and transferred the intellectual property to HSBC. MyDeal provides HSBC bankers with real time access to deal data and is expected to simplify the capital raising process.
