Mayer Brown announced today that it represented RT Holding GmbH on the sale of PAALGROUP to Kadant Inc., a US-based global supplier of high-value, critical components and engineered systems used in process industries worldwide.

PAALGROUP is the leading European manufacturer of channel balers used in the processing of recyclable and waste materials. The holding of the company is based in Georgsmarienhütte (Germany) and has additional operations in Germany, the United Kingdom, France and Spain.

The Frankfurt based Private Equity House ECM Capital Management GmbH advised GEP SPV Limited, the majority shareholder of RT Holding GmbH in the course of this transaction.
