Mayer Brown advised Unilever Ventures, the venture capital and private equity arm of Unilever, on its Series B investment in Blis, a global industry leader in location-based advertising technology. Blis’ proprietary technology provides accurate location data and in-depth behavioural insights to global brands.
Unilever Ventures’ investment is part of a $25 million funding round which also included Endeit Capital and Beringea US, alongside additional debt facilities provided by Silicon Valley Bank. The investment will help fund the continued expansion of Blis into new markets, including the US, and the scaling of international sales and marketing activities.
The Mayer Brown team was led by London based Corporate & Securities partner Connor Cahalane and senior associate Sam Webster and also included IP senior associate Oliver Yaros and Employment & Benefits senior associate Imogen Finnegan.
