Mayer Brown JSM advises Cinda International Capital on Time2U global offering in Hong Kong

03 Feb 2015

Mayer Brown JSM advised Cinda International Capital Limited as the sole sponsor, sole global coordinator and sole bookrunner on the approximately HK$286 million Time2U International IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Time2U International is a leading PRC brand-owner of economical quartz analogue watches and OEM manufacturer of quartz analogue watches.

Founded in 1994 initially as a manufacturer of watches and related products, the company designed its own watches under the Time2U and Jonquet brands in 2010 and subsequently launched a sub-brand Color in 2012 to target different segments of consumers. According to Euromonitor, for the year ended December 31, 2013, Time2U International was one of the top five quartz analogue watch manufacturers in terms of sales value in the country.

“We are pleased to have worked on two successful listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the first month of 2015. This is a very good start for my team and I am confident that the IPO market in Hong Kong will remain a steady growth for the rest of the year,” said Billy Au, a partner with Mayer Brown JSM’s Corporate & Securities Group, who led the transaction.

Other Mayer Brown JSM team members included senior associate Jeremy Hsu, associate Charles Kittrell, associate Wilson Chong all in Hong Kong and associate Jenny Yang in Beijing.

Earlier in January 2015, the firm advised BOCI Asia as the sole sponsor, sole global coordinator, sole bookrunner and sole lead manager on the HK$660 million Asiaray global offering and listing in Hong Kong.
