McDermott Advises HLD Group and Didier Tabary in Acquisition of Le Couvent des Minimes

McDermott Will & Emery advised HLD group and Didier Tabary, the shareholders of Filorga and SVR, in their acquisition of Le Couvent de Minimes, a beauty brand specialized in colognes and skincare products.

Created in 2004, Le Couvent des Minimes was, until now, owned by the L’Occitane Group. The brand is currently marketed in 15 countries and has an annual turnover about 10 million euros.

With this transaction, Le Couvent des Minimes will benefit from the selective distribution business model of Filorga and SVR, a presence in 85 countries, as well as significant synergies in the areas of production and research and development.

Following the integration of Le Couvent des Minimes’s, Filorga and SVR are planning to reach a turnover of around 200 million euros at the end of 2017.
