Milbank Advises Goshawk Aviation Group on Return to Schuldschein Market

Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP has advised Goshawk Aviation Group on its US$100 million Schuldschein issuance. Commerzbank AG and BNP Paribas acted as joint lead arrangers.

Following its successful first Schuldschein issuances in 2016, Goshawk Aviation Group has again raised proceeds with the popular German law debt instrument to finance its continuing strong growth. The Schuldschein loans have a maturity of five years.

Goshawk Aviation Group is headquartered in Ireland and operates a worldwide aircraft leasing business with a current aircraft portfolio valued at approximately US$5.8 billion, serving over 41 international airlines in 30 countries.

As in 2016, a Milbank team headed by partner Thomas Ingenhoven comprehensively advised the Goshawk Aviation Group on the Schuldschein issuance and the related documentation.
