Morrison & Foerster LLP is representing SoftBank Group Corp. in connection with investments totaling $6 billion into WeWork Companies Inc. (recently rebranded as The We Company), a company that develops and provides shared workspaces to entrepreneurs and small and large businesses worldwide, among other product and service offerings. The investment will be made in tranches over time. MoFo previously represented SoftBank in connection with its $4.4 billion investment, including tender offer for shares, in WeWork in 2017.
