Sagemcom Energy & Telecom, a Charterhouse portfolio company, has acquired 100% of Meter Italia from shareholders CPL Concordia, Cooperativa Bilanciai and Cooperare.

France based Sagemcom is a owned portfolio company of UK private equity fund Charterhouse Capital Partners, and is leader in Europe in the high added-value communicating terminals market, with turnover of EUR 1,5 billion, active in more than 40 countries.

Meter Italia is one of the largest European manufacturers of meters, both industrial and domestic.

Legal advisor to Sagemcom was Nctm, with a team coordinated by partners Pietro Maria Tantalo and Piero Corigliano, ad including associates Lucia Corradi and Marzia Manente.

Prof. Ettore Rocchi and PwC acted as legal and financial advisors to the sellers, respectively.
