Norton Rose Fulbright advises ContourGlobal on the acquisition of a 5 MW solar portfolio from Sorgenia

Global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright has advised ContourGlobal on the acquisition of a 5 MW solar portfolio from Sorgenia Solar S.r.l., a subsidiary of the leading Italian energy company Sorgenia S.p.A. The solar portfolio is located in the Sardinia, Sicilia and Calabria Regions and is owned and managed by four project companies.

The acquisition falls within the scope of ContourGlobal’s strategy, which is to consolidate its presence in the Italian renewable market with a proposed target of 100MW.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by Milan-based partner and head of the Italian energy practice, Arturo Sferruzza, assisted by associates Marcello Ciampi, Luigi Costa and Chiara Toccagni. CBA assisted the seller.
