Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Regal Beloit Corporation (“Regal”) on the sale of the entire corporate capital of Costruzioni Meccaniche Legnanesi, an Italian manufacturing company engaged in the business of designing, engineering, manufacturing, assembling, marketing and selling valves for the oil, gas, chemical processing, distribution and water treatment sectors to Rotork, a leading UK company with a global presence that specialises in manufacturing facilities for the flow of gases and liquids. Regal was established in Wisconsin, USA in 1955, manufacturing tools. Over the years it has gone on to expand their product line enormously, to include motors, generators, drive control systems and air systems. Regal officially listed on the New York stock exchange in 2005. Today it has operations in many countries around the globe, including Canada, United States of America, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Italy, India, China, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.
