Olswang has acted for Maverick Television in relation to the launch of Digital Life Sciences, the UK's first whole life-cycle digital healthcare business.

The new healthcare business will focus on helping healthcare services transform, save money and improve patient experiences by delivering digital tools, applications and services that the public want to use. Digital Life Sciences has recently launched its Real Time Patient Feedback App, delivered in partnership with NHS organisations, which will drive patient insight, improve outcomes and enhance relationships between healthcare providers and users for the mass market.

Maverick Television is one of the UK's most successful independent TV production companies. It has produced multi-award winning healthcare programmes and digital content for over ten years, including the BAFTA and Emmy winning Embarrassing Bodies on screen and online.  Digital Life Sciences brings together Maverick Television's experience in engaging the public through multi-platform content with the digital design and user experience expertise from illumina Digital, as well as the healthcare strategy and transformational change team from Clever Together LLP.

Maverick Television is an ALL3MEDIA company - Maverick Television will be the majority shareholder in Digital Life Sciences, which will operate separately to its core TV and multi-platform broadcasting business.
