Osborne Clarke Italy has advised Cattolica Assicurazioni on the acquisition of Palazzo Biandrà, one of the most prestigious office buildings in Milan, for 100 million Euro.
The sale, which took the form of a competitive auction, was managed by Colliers International. The property will be acquired by Euripide, an Italian Real Estate Fund, which is managed by International Finance Investments SGR and fully subscribed by Cattolica Assicurazioni Group companies.
Osborne Clarke partners Daniele Zanni and Umberto Piattelli advised Cattolica Assicurazioni, with the support of senior associate Laura Quintavalla, taking care of the real estate and regulatory aspects of the transaction.
The seller, the Omega real estate fund, which is managed by IDeA Fimit SGR, was advised by Freshfields.
Palazzo Biandrà is one of the most prestigious buildings in the historic centre of the city of Milan. Originally, the office of the Bank of Naples it was built in 1902 by the architect Beltrami. The building occupies an entire block and offers more than 13 thousand square meters of leasable space, which is fully let.
