Osborne Clarke advises Acision on acquisition of MindMatics

Acision, a global leader in mobile engagement services and an industry innovator in WebRTC technology has acquired MindMatics Secure Messaging for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition is part of Acision’s growth strategy to broaden its reach and capabilities across enterprise and consumer mobile applications and services, enabling it to offer highly-integrated, hosted messaging solutions, which meet the most stringent requirements for security, reliability, coverage and throughput necessary today.

MindMatics Secure Messaging specialises in mobile-based support services, connecting businesses with their customers and employees to enable two-way dialogue via the most personal and confidential mobile communication channel, messaging. The Munich based company, which has flourished over the past two years experiencing c.115% growth, has connectivity to more than 900 mobile operator networks worldwide, and complies with the highest degree of data protection, security and safety standards.

An Osborne Clarke team led by Dr Björn Hürten advised Acision on this transaction.
