B/E Aerospace, Inc. has acquired the aerospace manufacturer F+E Fischer + Entwicklungen GmbH & Co. KG. Through this strategic step, B/E Aerospace intends to realize substantial engineering, manufacturing and marketing synergies. The transaction has already closed.

B/E Aerospace is the world’s leading manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and the world’s leading provider of aerospace fasteners, consumables and logistics services. The company designs, develops and manufactures a broad range of products for both commercial aircraft and business jets.

F+E Fischer is the leading manufacturer of seating products for civilian helicopters. The Germany-based company has significant intellectual property (IP), including a patent-protected seat security system which has minimum space requirements and is extremely light and flexible.

A team of the international law firm Osborne Clarke led by M&A partner Dr Martin Sundermann advised F+E Fischer + Entwicklungen GmbH & Co. KG.
