Osborne Clarke has advised the shareholders of First Water on its acquisition by Scapa Group for consideration of up to £15.3m payable depending on performance in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

First Water specialises in manufacturing advanced wound dressings and skin adhesives. Scapa Group manufactures bonding materials, adhesive tapes and foils for industrial and domestic uses.

The Osborne Clarke team that advised on the acquisition was led by Partner David Ferris, who was assisted by Senior Associate James Davies.
