Osborne Clarke advises Koovs plc on £36m IPO

Osborne Clarke has advised Koovs plc (AIM:KOOV) on its £36m admission to AIM and associated £22m placing. The net proceeds of the placing (which was oversubscribed) will be used to finance the acquisition of a majority stake in the Indian business which owns the rights to the Koovs.com digital fashion website in India. Koovs’ executive chairman is Lord Waheed Ali, who was chairman of ASOS plc between 2000 and 2012.

The Osborne Clarke team was led by Partner Jonathan King who was assisted by Associate Director Louise Grzasko and Senior Associates Samantha New and Jake Turcan. Earlier this month Osborne Clarke advised Actual Experience on its £55m IPO.
