Listed US-company Mentor Graphics Corporation acquires German XS Embedded GmbH (XSe), a technology leader in the creation of automotive system architectures and hardware reference platforms. The company based in Villingen-Schwenningen has over ten years of direct experience in the automotive electronics design industry across twenty automotive programs that combine hardware and software expertise. An innovative systems allows to significantly reduce the time to start of serial production.

Established in 1981, the company heaquartered in Oregon reported revenues in the last fiscal year in excess of $1.15 billion.
