11 Jul 2014

Osborne Clarke has advised leading cloud contact centre vendor NewVoiceMedia on a US$50m fundraising. The series 'E' funding led by new investor Technology Crossover Ventures – together with existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP), Highland Capital Partners Europe, Eden Ventures, Notion Capital and salesforce.com – will be used to further NewVoiceMedia’s rapid global expansion.

The Osborne Clarke team advising NewVoiceMedia was led by Ray Berg, Head of Business Transactions and Thomas Colmer, Associate Director.

Ray Berg, Osborne Clarke’s Head of Business Transactions, said:

"NewVoiceMedia is a long-standing client of ours, for whom we have successfully raised over US$100 million through multiple transactions. We look forward to working with them again in the future."

Tim Perks, NewVoiceMedia’s CFO, said:

"NewVoiceMedia has worked with Ray, Thomas and the OC team throughout our exciting growth journey. They provide expert advice and support and consistently deliver an exceptional service. The additional funding will help us to continue innovating ahead of our competition and further increase international adoption of our world-class solutions."

NewVoiceMedia’s market-leading cloud customer contact platform integrates seamlessly with Salesforce to connect organisations with their customers worldwide, enabling them to deliver a personalised and unique customer experience and drive a more effective sales and marketing team. The company is outpacing the rapidly expanding cloud contact centre market fivefold, and has doubled its staff in the last year to meet increased demand for its technology.
