International law firm, Osborne Clarke has advised Santander Corporate and Commercial Banking on its £73.0 million development and investment finance facility relating to Imperial College London's £200 million new Research and Translation Hub.
The loan was made to Voreda, the London based real estate development and investment company who have exchanged contracts with Imperial College London to deliver the major research and translation centre.
The £200 million, 48,000 sq. m Research and Translation Hub will form the centrepiece of the new Imperial West innovation district in White City, West London. It will deliver world-class education, research and translation activities, and foster partnerships with global stakeholders from Business, industry, higher education and the NHS.
The loan from Santander Corporate and Commercial Banking will fund the 23,000 sq m translation centre. The buildings, which form the new Hub, will be completed in Summer 2016.
