The Wirecard Group has acquired all shares in the Turkish Mikro Odeme Sistemleri lletisim San. ve Tic. A.S., headquartered in Istanbul.

Under its brand 3pay, the company is considered to be one of the leading payment providers in Turkey. Among the company's customers and partners are all Turkish mobile communications companies as well as comprehensive partnerships in gaming and social media.

The sellers are the majority shareholder Mediterra Capital Partners I, LP, a Private Equity Fund, and the CEO who will remain in the management team. The purchase price payable in connection with the transaction consists of cash payments and earn-out components totalling up to approx. EUR 26 Mio. The closing of the transaction is subject to the approval by the relevant Turkish authorities.
