Dentons continues its rapid growth in 2024 with the addition of Melbourne Banking & Finance Partner, Yechiel Belfer.

Yechiel is an experienced banking and finance lawyer who primarily focuses on the regulation of financial services and consumer credit.

Yechiel has extensive experience advising on a range of regulatory matters that impact financial services providers, including financial services licensing and regulation; credit licensing and consumer credit; anti-money laundering (AML) regulation; payment systems (including stored value cards and eWallets); privacy (including credit reporting); distribution and disclosure (and establishment) of a wide range of banking and financial products; PPSA securities interests; and funds management.

Yechiel works with a wide range of domestic and international clients, from established financial institutions to fintechs.
