Megan Lantz recently joined Dentons as a partner on the Iowa Immigration team. Megan helps individuals and families navigate the complex US immigration system, dedicating her career to advocating for immigrants through the family-based visa process or in immigration court.
Before Dentons, Megan worked at another law firm in Ames, Iowa. She was also previously a staff attorney for the Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence and remains committed to immigrant victims’ rights issues. During her time at the coalition, Megan served as a mentor to students at the University of Iowa College of Law on Violence Against Women Act and U Visa Petitions as part of their clinical program. She also trained Iowa law enforcement on U Visa Petitions at the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy.
Megan is involved in American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She previously served on the Executive Committee for the Iowa/Nebraska Chapter of AILA as secretary, vice chair, and chapter chair. She also acted as an AILA nationwide mentor for victim-based visas.
