International law firm Brown Rudnick announced that Angus Ford has joined the firm as head of UK & European Real Estate in London.
Ford joins from Eversheds Sutherland, where he led the Logistics practice globally and co-led the Investment Management Services Product Group, bringing with him over 20 years of legal experience in the real estate field. He has led a broad range of sophisticated real estate investment and development transactions in the U.K. and globally, especially in innovative residential, retail, and industrial developments including cloud storage facilities, advising clients in commercial property acquisition, large-scale portfolio purchases, sale and leaseback transactions, and securitizations.
Thomas J. Regan, head of Brown Rudnick’s Real Estate and Energy & Environmental Practice Groups, said: “Angus has a wealth of real estate knowledge and his extensive involvement in cross-border transactions make him an exemplary addition to our global real estate team. His experience in cutting edge work including cloud storage facilities is particularly important given our firm’s focus on the technology sector.”
Tuvi Keinan, partner and head of the firm's Special Situations, Credit & Trading Practice Group in London, said: “Angus’ experience advising on a majority of significant logistics and data centre transactions in the UK will further bolster our group’s capabilities and provide us with a strategically enhanced real estate presence for our London Special Situations team.”
Angus Ford said: “I am delighted to be joining Brown Rudnick. The firm’s roster of clients complements my own experience, and I am looking forward to helping grow its robust real estate practice.”
Ford’s move to the firm follows other recent partner additions in the London office, including Robin Pickworth and Derval Walsh (Litigation), Paul Feldberg (Compliance), and Charlotte Harris (Brand & Reputation Management).
