Clyde & Co is pleased to announce that Richard Moody is joining the firm's professional disputes team, also working with the construction disputes team, as a partner in London.

Richard joins Clyde & Co from RPC's construction team in which he was a lead partner for over 15 years. Richard is recognised as a leading construction industry specialist with particular expertise in the defence of contractors, architects, engineers, surveyors and other design consultants both in the UK and abroad. He advises on defects claims and financial (loss and expense) disputes as well as all aspects of construction insurance.

Richard is well known for handling some of the market's most complex multi-party litigation. He acts for all the leading London Market construction insurance syndicates/companies and is instructed by contractors and consultants on high end disputes and complex professional liability claims. An "experienced industry figure" (Legal 500, 2013) , Richard is highly recommended in recent directory editions, winning praise for his "extensive expertise" (Chambers UK, 2013) and "persuasive style" (Chambers UK, 2012).

Richard will join Clyde & Co's professional disputes team which has a long-held industry focus on construction professionals as well as lawyers, accountants, brokers and financial, property, consulting, IT and emerging professions. The team enjoys a market leading presence and reputation in the industry with strength in London and regional UK centres as well as extensive international capabilities in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.
