International law firm CMS is pleased to announce that Neil Baylis has joined the Antitrust, Competition and Trade team in London.
Neil is an experienced partner with over 20 years advising clients across a broad range of competition and regulatory matters, both transactional and contentious and including sanctions and commercial law advice. He also has extensive experience of advising on matters related to the automotive and travel industries, both in the UK and overseas.
Brian Sher, Partner and Head of Antitrust, Competition and Trade, CMS UK, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Neil to the team. Neil brings extensive and wide-ranging experience, and strong industry recognition. He will add further bench strength to our UK team at a time of increased competition and regulatory scrutiny, enabling us to broaden and deepen our advice to clients.”
Neil added: “I’m excited to join CMS and be part of the Competition team. I look forward to bringing my legal and industry knowledge and experience, to complement the existing team’s offerings to clients in the UK and internationally. And I look forward to working with my new colleagues across CMS.”
Neil’s arrival builds on the continuing expansion of the team following the arrival of specialist public procurement partner Wendy Nicolson and the recent partner promotion of Siobhan Kahmann, based in the Brussels EU Law Office.
