Lyndsey Kruzer joins Cooley’s Boston office as a partner in the firm’s labor and employment practice and global litigation department. Kruzer advises life sciences and tech companies, along with private equity and venture capital firms, across the full spectrum of employment matters, including employment counseling, litigation and transactional issues.
“Lyndsey’s experience advising tech, life sciences and other innovative companies complements our elite labor and employment practice,” said Ian Shapiro, chair of Cooley’s global litigation department. “She is one of the best next-generation employment partners in Boston, and we are excited to have her join our dynamic litigation practice there.”
Kruzer advises and defends clients facing discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, employee mobility, whistleblower, noncompetition restriction, Employment Retirement Income Security Act and contract employment claims. She also conducts internal investigations for clients, drafts employment agreements, handbooks and policies, and advises on corporate transactions and strategic investments.
“Massachusetts has a complex employment law landscape, and Lyndsey's experience in Boston, coupled with her understanding of Cooley’s client base, will be particularly advantageous for companies navigating challenging employment issues,” said Wendy Brenner, partner and chair of Cooley’s labor and employment practice group. “We are delighted to welcome her to the firm.”
Cooley’s labor and employment practice serves as a go-to resource for companies contending with complex employment counseling, investigation and litigation matters in the US and globally. Part of the firm’s expansive CooleyREG offering, the group provides comprehensive and timely guidance for clients navigating the increasingly complex regulatory landscape.
