Dentons is pleased to announce that Bryan Johnston has joined the firm as a Partner in the Real Estate practice. Bryan joins from Clifford Chance where he was a Senior Associate in the Real Estate Litigation practice in London.
Bryan's practice covers all areas of property advisory and litigation work, including landlord and tenant, insolvency, development site issues, rights of light and other easements, restrictive covenants, property management issues, service charge disputes and professional negligence. Whilst adept at dealing with complex and high-value litigation, Bryan is skilled in ADR, especially mediation.
Dentons' UK Managing Partner, Brandon Ransley, said: "Bryan's first-rate technical skills and drive will be a great fit with our existing practice and will help us broaden our offering to new and existing clients alike. Dentons has a well-established reputation in real estate, and Bryan's arrival will serve to strengthen our practice in the UK and beyond."
Bryan commented: "The prospect of working for a dynamic and ambitious firm such as Dentons is irresistible. It will be a privilege to work with such a strong and experienced Real Estate team that places excellence and exceptional client service at its heart. I very much look forward to developing the Real Estate litigation practice, servicing the firm's clients and helping it achieve its ambitions."
Bryan joined Clifford Chance as a trainee in 2002. He qualified in 2004, and has been a member of the firm since. Bryan is the Honorary Secretary of the Property Litigation Association's (PLA) Executive Committee and is a member of the PLA's Law Reform Committee.
