Dentons’ Global Real Estate team has boosted its practice in Paris with the addition of a new partner, Alexandre Poupard. Alexandre joins Dentons from Allen & Overy. Prior to that, he worked with Clifford Chance Europe LLP and the Paris and New York offices of Jeantet & Associés.
Alexandre specializes in M&A with a particular focus on real estate projects and joint ventures. He brings to the team deep experience in advising domestic and international commercial real estate and corporate clients on acquisitions and sales of listed and unlisted companies, leveraged buyouts and issues arising out of cross-border transactions
Evan Lazar and Eric Rosedale, European Co-Chairs of Dentons’ Global Real Estate Group, said that they anticipate a unique opportunity to develop and grow the French practice within the firm’s 600-strong real estate team. “We will continue to focus on the institutional side of our business in France, which has been robust in core real estate markets such as Paris.” Lazar and Rosedale added that “Alexandre, with his extensive real estate M&A and joint venture expertise, will give an important boost to our French and global real estate practice.”
