PARTNER MOVES - Dentons Cohen & Grigsby welcomes Glynis Ritchie in Pittsburgh

22 Sep 2022

Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces that Glynis A. Ritchie has joined the Firm’s Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation practice as a Shareholder in the Pittsburgh office of Dentons Cohen & Grigsby P.C.

Ritchie, formerly of Day Pitney LLP in Boston, advises individuals and families in all aspects of estate and tax planning and administration, including income, gift, estate and generation-skipping tax planning, trust and estate administration, planning for families with children with disabilities, and charitable giving. Ritchie also assists clients with philanthropic planning through the creation and operation of nonprofit organizations, including family foundations.

“Glynis has an outstanding track record as a perceptive and skilled attorney and is an exciting addition to our Estates and Trusts practice,” said Sam Goncz, Co-Leader of Dentons’ Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation National Practice Group. “She fits perfectly with our focus on ensuring the highest level of client service for both current and future generations.”

Active in pro bono efforts, Ritchie previously handled matters for the Boston Child Health Advocacy Partnership, Federal Bar Association's Wills for Veterans, and Boston Medical Legal Partnership.  Prior to her time in Boston, she was a law clerk for the Hon. Norma L. Shapiro (deceased) of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
