PARTNER MOVES - Dentons recruits experienced investment tax and fund supervisory partner Joachim Kayser

Global law firm Dentons has expanded its Tax practice with the recruitment of Dr. Joachim Kayser as a partner in its Berlin office. In his new role at Dentons, he will draw on his many years of experience in the areas of fund tax and regulatory law as well as institutional investments.

“The hire of Joachim Kayser not only complements our German Tax team, but also unleashes international synergies—especially with our investment fund team in Luxembourg. In close cooperation with our colleagues, we will be able to support investors and funds in cross-border projects in the future,” said Michael Graf, Co-Head of the European Tax practice and Managing Partner of the Frankfurt office.

Joachim Kayser advises clients on all tax and regulatory issues relating to investment law. He specializes in the structuring and distribution of alternative investment funds. His clients include initiators of complex and innovative products, fund companies and institutional investors such as insurance companies, pension funds, banks and family offices. Before joining Dentons, he was a partner at Goodwin Procter, where he built up and led the German investment funds practice. Prior to that, he was a partner at Dechert and headed the Alternative Investments and Asset Management Regulatory practices at PwC Legal.
