Dentons announced the addition of partner Michael Maloff to its Real Estate practice in Louisville. Michael represents borrowers, owners, developers, hospitality companies, operators, private equity companies, institutional investors, restauranteurs and lenders in all aspects of hospitality law and commercial real estate ownership, finance, development, management, leasing, acquisition and disposition.
Michael counsels clients on a variety of complex real estate and hospitality transactions, including representing borrowers, lenders, owners, operators, developers and investors in commercial real estate and asset-based lending. He also advises on matters such as reviewing, drafting and negotiating critical transaction documents, performing diligence and coordinating with third parties to ensure smooth, successful closings for all parties.
Michael’s experience also includes in-house counsel roles, serving as Deputy General Counsel for a large US-based real estate investor and developer focused on hospitality, office, retail and restaurant assets.
“Michael’s transactional experience will greatly help both our hospitality clients, and those who serve the industry, as they seek to navigate today’s challenges and growth opportunities,” said Louisville Office Managing Partner Jim Irving. “We continue to add talent who can serve our clients as they face more multijurisdictional needs. We are thrilled to welcome Michael to our team.”
