PARTNER MOVES - DLA Piper appoints dispute resolution lawyer Natalie Caton to partnership

Global law firm DLA Piper has appointed senior dispute resolution lawyer, Natalie Caton, as a partner of the firm effective 29 January 2018. She joins DLA Piper’s Litigation and Regulatory practice from King & Wood Mallesons.

Natalie’s broad corporate law experience spans Australia, Hong Kong and New Zealand. In Australia she has advised on a range of high profile matters including advising the special purpose liquidators of Queensland Nickel, the ACCC vs Flight Centre proceedings, the 2011 Brisbane Floods Class Action and the Royal Commission into the Home Insulation Program.

Prior to 2012, Natalie spent six years working in Hong Kong, including with Norton Rose Fulbright, specialising in corporate compliance, anti-corruption and regulatory investigations, and cross-border dispute resolution including international arbitration.

Natalie also specialises in business ethics and anti-corruption issues, and has experience with corporate compliance and regulatory investigations. She advises both local and multinational corporations on corruption risks when doing business internationally.

This appointment follows a number of recent partner hires in Asia, including a Corporate partner and Finance & Projects partner in Tokyo, a leverage finance partner in Hong Kong, and a Corporate partner in Beijing, among others.
