DLA Piper announced today that C. Michael Moore and Matthew Nickel have joined the firm's Litigation practice as partners in the Dallas office.
Moore brings broad experience in unfair trade practices, state attorney general litigation, governmental fraud and qui tam litigation, consumer class actions, business torts, commercial transactions and product liability. Nickel focuses on complex litigation with an emphasis on product liability and pharmaceutical litigation.
They join from Dentons' Dallas office, where Moore was managing partner and both were members of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, in addition to Nickel being a member of the Life Sciences and Healthcare industry sector team.

Moore received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.A. from the Centenary College of Louisiana. Nickel received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
The arrival of Moore and Nickel marks the latest step forward in the continued growth of DLA Piper in Dallas, which has also included the recent addition of Employment partners Marc Katz and Isabel Crosby, Litigation partner Rob Hoffman and Corporate partner Steven Bartz.
