Barely a month after the announcement of the arrival of a new partner in business criminal law, JEANTET marks a new stage in its development with the strengthening of its tax team with the arrival of Vincent Lazimi and the appointment of Gabriel di Chiara as partner, and the development of its banking and financial division with the appointment of Delphine Baudouin as partner (the appointments will be effective as of January, 2024.

 Vincent Lazimi joins JEANTET with his collaborator Jessica SELLEM. Vincent specializes in tax law. For more than 18 years, including 6 years spent in London, he has advised companies and individuals in an often international context and assists them in the event of a tax audit. He advises companies mainly in the new technologies sector but also in fashion with regard to their current and exceptional operations (taxation of reorganizations, acquisitions, transfer of deficits, etc.). He also assists British and American investment funds in their internal organization (establishment in France, partner remuneration policy, taxation of carried interest, etc.) as well as in the context of their acquisitions (tax audits and tax structuring of acquisition operations).

Vincent also assists “family offices ”, large fortunes, entrepreneurs and investors established in France or the United Kingdom in structuring their private or professional assets.

He has also developed strong expertise in tax audit assistance for both companies and individuals.

Before joining Jeantet, Vincent was a partner in an international firm.

Vincent is cited as a “  Leading Individual  ” by the Legal 500 and Chambers High Net Worth.

Vincent is a lawyer at the Paris Bar and Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales. He also holds a doctorate in international tax law from Paris-Dauphine University and the author of a work on the tax control of international transactions of individuals published by EFE. Finally, he is a member of the Institute of Tax Lawyers (IACF).

 Delphine Baudouin specializes in banking and financial law and supports credit institutions, private equity and debt funds or borrowers in setting up senior, mezzanine or Unitranche debt financing, as part of debt transactions. acquisition, leveraged or not, both national and cross-border. It also operates in the areas of real estate financing as well as financing trading operations and international trade and financing projects in Africa. She has recently advised clients on structured financing and debt restructuring, particularly in the context of conciliation procedures.

Delphine has developed particular expertise in the technique of documentary credits, standby letters of credit and international guarantees, notably during her secondment within the “International Trade / Trading” department of BNP Paribas.

Delphine is a graduate of the University of Paris II-Assas (Master II in private international law – Master II in general private law) and the Institute of Comparative Law. Before joining Jeantet in February 2022, she worked in several large international firms including Hogan Lovells and Eversheds Sutherland, in the Paris and Madrid offices.

Jeantet's banking-finance team is now made up of 6 partners.

Gabriel di Chiara mainly works in corporate taxation and transaction taxation for the benefit of a clientele made up of large groups, investment funds and French and foreign mid-sized companies that he supports in their acquisition operations. and reorganization (tax audits, tax structuring, management package, etc.). He also works with business leaders, directors and family shareholders in the tax management of their property interests. Finally, he supports them in their relationship with the tax administration, during the pre-litigation and litigation phases (accounting verification and automatic taxation procedures, examination of personal tax situation, tax search, administrative and judicial litigation, etc.).

Before joining Jeantet in 2013, he was a tax specialist within the Caisse des Dépôts group and taught real estate taxation at the University of Paris Est-Créteil and corporate law at the Faculty of Free Law.

He is a graduate of the University of Paris II-Assas (Master's degree in business law and taxation – DEA in tax law) and a member of the Institute of Tax Lawyers (IACF)

Gabriel is also a member of the Council of the Paris Bar Association (2022-2024) and an expert within the tax commission of the Council of European Bars since 2022. He is cited as “ Recommended Lawyers ” by the Legal 500.
