Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP announced today that Darren A. Littlejohn has joined the Firm as a partner in the Derivatives and Asset Management Practices, based in the New York office.

Mr. Littlejohn has extensive experience advising investment banks, fund managers, corporations and other end users on the structuring, regulatory analysis, and documentation of complex derivatives and related products across a broad range of asset classes. In recent years, Mr. Littlejohn has been intimately involved in helping clients with the implementation of regulatory reforms impacting derivatives and financial markets more generally.

We look forward to adding Darren's in-depth expertise in derivatives and structured finance to our Derivatives and Asset Management Practices, said David J. Greenwald, Chairman of Fried Frank. Having worked closely with Darren previously, I am confident that his experience representing financial clients in highly challenging matters will make him a great asset to the Firm's clients.

In today's dynamic, interconnected financial and regulatory environment, it is critical that we provide the highest quality counsel to our clients as they execute increasingly complicated transactions, added Lawrence Barshay, partner in Fried Frank's Corporate Department and head of the Firm's Asset Management Practice. Darren has a very strong derivatives background and unique cross-border experience that will further expand the depth of our structured finance expertise. We are delighted to welcome him to our world-class team.

Mr. Littlejohn joins the Firm from Blake, Cassels & Graydon, where he was a partner in the Financial Services Practice. He previously worked as a managing director and senior counsel in the Legal Department of Goldman Sachs, both in New York and London.
