The international law firm Gianni & Origoni grows with the arrival of a team of 5 professionals led by Massimo Tesei. The additions, expected in the Milan office, will strengthen the Corporate Law/M&A and Litigation and Arbitration departments.

In particular, Massimo Tesei will join the M&A Department as Equity Partner together with Carlo Mecella (Non Equity Partner), Davide Ravasi and Federica Della Monica (Associate); Elena Tomanelli, as Senior Associate, will join the Litigation team.

Massimo Tesei has gained over 25 years of experience in advising leading companies in M&A, private equity and extraordinary finance transactions, and boasts consolidated expertise in the capital markets sector, in the field of takeover bids, corporate governance and market abuse. He also deals with debt restructuring and the acquisition and management of distressed assets. He assists clients in sanctioning proceedings before the Supervisory Authorities and in corporate and commercial litigation. Before joining Gianni & Origoni, Tesei was among the founding partners as well as head of the Milan office of the Di Gravio Avvocati Associati firm and previously carried out his activity in leading Italian and international firms.

Carlo Mecella, who joins GOP as a Non Equity Partner, deals with consultancy in the M&A and private equity fields and over the years has acquired significant experience in the capital markets sector, in particular in the field of takeover bids, corporate governance and regulation of market abuse.
