PARTNER MOVES - Goodwin adds New York capital markets partner Radoslaw Michalak to technology practice

22 Sep 2022

Global law firm Goodwin announced that Radoslaw Michalak joined the firm’s Technology practice as a partner, resident in the New York office.

“Rad’s broad-based capital markets and public company expertise, including in the liability management space, adds additional depth to our unmatched offering for technology companies and investors,” said Brad Weber, co-chair of Goodwin’s Capital Markets practice. “We are thrilled to welcome him to the firm as our clients’ public market activity continues to increase at the intersection of capital and innovation.”

Michalak represents companies and investment banks in IPOs, follow-on equity offerings, SPAC and deSPAC transactions, investment-grade and high-yield debt offerings, and other strategic financing transactions. With extensive cross-border experience, he frequently advises clients in the U.S. and EMEA on complex matters that involve reconciling competing regulatory and legal considerations across jurisdictions and areas of substantive regulation.

Michalak has particular expertise advising clients on tender offers, exchange offers, and consent solicitations, having led some of the most complex and cutting-edge liability management transactions in recent years.

Goodwin’s capital markets practice is routinely recognized for excellence around the world by Chambers, The Legal 500, and IFLR1000. Bloomberg's full year 2021 capital markets league tables highly rank Goodwin for its ability to advise clients on equity linked capital markets transactions on behalf of U.S. underwriters, as well as for U.S. IPOs and equity offerings, and global equity, equity linked, and rights transactions on behalf of underwriters.
