Thai litigator Warathorn Wongsawangsiri joins leading global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills today as a partner in Bangkok.
A recognised leader in the Thai legal market, Warathorn advises on domestic and international dispute resolution, working on many of the country's most complex commercial cases.

ABOUT OUR NEW PARTNER
Fluent in Thai and English, Warathorn Wongsawangsiri was admitted to practice in 2004. He received a bachelor's degree in law from Chulalongkorn University and masters' degree in law from Northwestern University School of Law in the United States and is a Thai Barrister at Law. He joined Weerawong C&P in Bangkok (formerly White & Case) in 2004 and became a partner in 2016.
Warathorn advises many of Thailand's largest companies and noted international companies investing in the country. His expertise includes administrative law, banking, bankruptcy and business reorganisation, construction, corporate and commercial, class action, director liability, energy, oil and gas, hotels and real estate, insurance, product liability, and telecommunications.
Warathorn is a member of the new Young SIAC (YSIAC) Committee at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), a facilitator of the Thai Institute of Directors (IOD), and guest lecturer at several Thai national law schools.
