PARTNER MOVES - K&L Gates Expands Orange County Office With Corporate Partner Addition

11 Oct 2013

The Orange County office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes David C. Lee as a partner in the firm’s corporate/M&A practice. Lee joins K&L Gates from Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP.

Lee focuses his practice on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and equity and debt tender offers, and also advises public and private companies on securities regulation, corporate governance and general corporate matters.

He previously served with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a Special Counsel in the Office of Chief Counsel, Division of Corporation Finance and as Counsel to former SEC Commissioner Roel C. Campos.

“We are delighted that David has joined our growing corporate and corporate securities practice,” said David J. Perry, Administrative Partner in K&L Gates’ Orange County office. “His unique insight will help guide both our public and private company clients in the essential areas of understanding and complying with constantly increasing and evolving securities law requirements. David’s extensive experience working with public companies on corporate transactions and securities regulatory matters further strengthens our existing public company practice in the Orange County office and firmwide.”

K&L Gates’ corporate/M&A practice provides clients with full-service counsel on the structuring, financing, and completion of domestic, international, and cross-border transactions. Earlier this year, K&L Gates was named “Law Firm of the Year” by Mergers & Acquisitions magazine as part of their Mid-Market M&A Awards.
